Summary Description:
Yellowstone Forever—formerly the Yellowstone Association and Yellowstone Park Foundation—is the official nonprofit partner of Yellowstone National Park. Yellowstone Forever (YF) connects people to Yellowstone through outstanding visitor experiences and educational programs, and translates those experiences into lifelong support and philanthropic investment to conserve and enhance the park for the future.
Yellowstone Forever’s Annual Fund is a fundraising program that generates gift support for Yellowstone Forever on an annual basis using direct mail and online strategies to broaden support, upgrade levels of giving, and provide operating support for ongoing programs. The Yellowstone Society program recognizes supporters who provide annual support of $1,000 or more. The Annual Fund & Society Coordinator plays a critical role in Yellowstone Forever’s development operations, working with donors and staff to collectively support Yellowstone Forever’s Annual Fund & Society programs. This position works closely with a team of development professionals to maintain and grow Annual Fund & Society level support through engagement and cultivation. Responsibilities of this position also include timely and professional responses to donor inquiries and thorough review of donor recognition and mailing lists. The ability to collaborate effectively with others, multi-task, and pay close attention to detail. Success in this position requires high-degrees of donor engagement and collaboration with other departments.

Primary Responsibilities:
Provide timely, accurate and professional responses to supporter inquiries from Contact Center, supporters@yellowstone.org, web, phone, and mail to provide exceptional service to our donors/supporters.
Input actions and scan personal notes for donor conversations/meetings into Raiser’s Edge.
Correspond with supporters through timely thank you calls to $500 plus supporters and handwritten and personal correspondence to $1,000 plus supporters.
Maintain Annual Fund & Society master calendar and coordinate communication with other departments about the timing and messaging for mailings/solicitations/engagement strategies.
Send and edit submissions for our printed publications including ads, donor recognition names, and mailing lists.
Generate and edit information from Raiser’s Edge to create list of donor names for recognition in our publications, Old Faithful Donor Wall, and Park Store supporter list..
Manage inventory of Annual Fund & Society printed materials including supporter cards, sign-up cards, donor thank you cards, brochures, and premium inventory for mailings.
Coordinate with Senior Manager of Annual Fund and Society to implement stewardship mailings to ensure accurate data and materials are received and mailed in a timely manner.
Collaborate with Prospect Research Manager on supporter bios when requested by Director or Manager of Annual Fund & Society.
Support Director of Annual Fund & Society with planning and executing Society events when needed.
Support Director of Annual Fund & Society by coordinating event follow up including preparing and mailing follow-up solicitations specific to donor giving history.
Provide administrative support to the Director of Annual Fund & Society including scheduling meetings, inputting meeting notes into Raiser’s Edge, and donor calls.
Represent Yellowstone Forever and its mission accurately and positively.
Foster a collaborative, team-oriented environment with YF employees, volunteers and partners
Other tasks as assigned by Director of Annual Fund and Society or other designated leadership.
Travel into Yellowstone, throughout the Greater Yellowstone area and other, as required.

Basic Qualifications:
A degree in a related field from an accredited institution, or equivalent experience
Team player with excellent and professional oral and written communication skills using proper punctuation and grammar
Ability to multi-task and work in a fast paced environment
Strong organizational skills and precise attention to detail
Strong ability to take initiative
Proven ability to quickly learn and apply new systems, processes, and applications
Self-motivated with a sound approach to problem solving and timely task completion
Solution oriented
Ability to sometimes work a flexible schedule, which may include evenings and weekends and travel as needed
Ability to work at a computer for extended periods of time
Ability to represent YF in a courteous and professional manner
This position involves driving YF vehicles, therefore applicants must hold and maintain a valid US driver’s license, and maintain a favorable driving record for insurance purposes
A satisfactory criminal background check are conditions of employment

Preferred Qualifications:
Experience working in a non-profit environment
Experience working in a development office with an annual fund or membership program
Knowledge of Yellowstone National Park
Experience working with Raiser’s Edge
